Back to 1983

My job as a professional storyteller and TTRPG Gamemaster has often brought me many moments of tremendous nostalgia, but today, if only for a few moments, I was transported back to my D&D days of 1983! The players at my table ranged in age from 11 to 15 years old, and each one was as keen to play D&D as my friends and I were 41 years ago. The excitement and enthusiasm at the table was as tangible as those childhood games were, and I could lose myself, as I often do, into my role as storyteller and facilitator of yet another foray into a fantastical collaborative tale! I am forever grateful to have the privilege to tell stories as a way to make my way in this weird, wonderful world we live in! ❤️
